CREATIVE WRITING/SCIENCE
Go to http://writeideas.org.uk/ for a new pack with writing exercises based on real science developed by Mario Petrucci, a real scientist, for the Royal Literary Fund. Intended for teachers, students and writers, it uses concepts such as filters, iteration and randomness to stimulate writing. It's accessible to non-specialists - even people with no exam passes in science, like me - and it's definitely not scary.
